Aistesis (or ‘aisthesis’) comes from the ancient greek word « αἴσθησις, -εως, ἡ », faculty of perception.
The concept behind Aistesis magazine is to drive the reader to «αἰσθάνομαι», to feel either through the senses or the intellect; by combining articles from diverse kinds of domains - artistic, humanistic, and scientific -, both mental and sensorial faculty are employed to perceive reality through different perspectives.
Art then coexist with science, creativity merges with rationality,
abstract connects with the concrete, and senses ask the intellect for a dance.
